Krampert's Bay Rum thoughts by new user

I recently won some via a give away from Bullgoose Shaving-thanks Phil!

This is somewhat clovey, for me not a bad thing. Wife isn't a bay rum fan of any brand, and says I smell like a baked ham. The best moisturizing bay rum splash that I've ever used. The scent isn't especially strong, so I use a good bit, and my face feels a bit clammy for about 30 minutes. Not a bad thing at all, I get pretty dry skin in the winter working twelve hour shifts in a non heated warehouse. I look forward to using Krampet's this winter!!

I would recommend it based on my above statements, especially for the moisturizing capabilities.

I have a bottle of Krampert's that I have used a few times (including today). IMHO I much prefer Captain's Choice Bay Rum. My face fells better with The Captain, and I enjoy the smell much more than Krampert's.

I'm a fan of Krampert's as well. I go back and forth between this and Captain's Choice since both the scent and feel of each aftershave is a little different, I'm glad to own both!

My favorite is still Dominica w/Lime

Dominica (with and w/o lime) are on my list of bay rums to try! I had also gotten 3 different bay rum samples from Ogallala, and the Bay Rum w/ Sandalwood was really nice.
