KOS Alpha Oil

I recently picked up a bottle in NY (Duane Reade always has a couple of things I just can't get at Walgreens or Rite Aid).

I have a bottle of the KOS Kinexium oil that's almost empty, which I like a lot. I find the Alpha oil to be totally inferior. It is a disgusting greenish-blue color and nowhere near as slick as the Kinexium (or other good oils, like T&H).

Anyone have a similar experience?

i'm using the alpha oil now. its not bad. i think the pacific shaving oil was better. honestly though they're all the same. i've used fancy stuff (art of shaving) and i think they all work equally as indiffernetly.

Have you tried the Kinexium oil from KOS? I like it much better. It's slicker and smells pretty good.

i have not. perhaps i'll give it a shot. i'm using the one in the green bottle. i think there's also a blue and a black right? the king of shaves shave gels are actually pretty nice too.

i used it and it is average at best
AOS pre shave oil i did not like
my fav was musgo real pre shave oil

this is the one in the blue bottle. It works well, but personally I don't like the scent. It's very clove-like. I guess if you like cloves, then you'd like it. I searched to find a reasonably priced oil that didn't smell like cloves and settled on the Pacific Shaving oil, but it's not as slick.
