I like leather fragrances and I'm also fascinated by its obscurity. Any users? What is this fragrance like? How would you compare it to other leathers?

If you spend a day cooking fatty meats over a wood fire while wearing a leather jacket, the jacket will smell like Kolnisch Juchten. I like it quite a bit, but it is too smokey and too unctuous to wear often. Should I, however, find my self shaving before a boar hunt in Central Europe, it will be the EdT I grab.
That's what I love about this site - it really leaves you prepared for any contingency.
Thanks! I've been wondering just how to prepare for that. Without even a hint of an idea, I was afraid I'd have to forego the boar hunt altogether. It just not worth doing something if you can't do it with the right scent!

This sounds like great stuff -- fatty meat, wood smoke and leather! As for that fatty meat, would you say "bacon" or "brisket"?
