Can anyone describe the difference between these two? I have been waiting to order a bottle of Knize Ten from Lucky Scent for a while but they keep pushing back the in-stock date, and I'm losing patience! The description of the Golden Edition indicates it is more floral, so does this mean it doesn't have as much of a leather note? Or is it just more intense in the floral notes, whilst retaining the leather etc?

I had it about a year ago and didn't like it, but don't remember why. I have the original, however in edt, as and shaving soap. Love it.
The general concencus being that the original is a bit more austere than the Golden edition but both are very nice.

I have not tried the Golden Edition because of what I'd read about it in comparison to the original. My impression was that it was smoother in terms of amber and less in your face in terms of leather and that Knize Ten aficionados would probably prefer the original since the Gold Edition was more "modern" and probably more suited to those who find the original "challenging." Personally, I think the current regular edition is easier to wear than the vintage, which is what I prefer. So, in that line of thinking, I've just avoided the GE altogether.

Yep, I pretty much have the same idea. Guess I'll just have to keep waiting!
I have owned both in the past. I find the original more smooth. Golden Edition is sharper and not as soft. It's said to be heavier on the leather, and maybe that is true. I love leather, but still prefer the original.
