Kiss My Face reformulation

Gentleman, I went to the Kiss My Face website this morning and saw that they changed the design of the bottle. I wasn't sure if this was a cosmetic change, or a reformulation. Currently, the only KMF cream that I own is Green Tea & Bamboo. I compared the ingredients to the bottle I have (old design), to the ingredients list posted on the website. They share all the same ingredients in the same order with one exception - Retinyl Palmitate. The old formula has this ingredient and the new formula does not. I am not a chemist so I have no idea what this ingredient is or what it actually does. I can only hope that KMF continues to deliver an excellent product for us wet shavers. Has anybody tried this new formula yet? If you have, please post your thoughts.

Note: The new bottle does say, "Same great formula," on it, so maybe the lack of this ingredient is trivial. I am not sure. But that's why I'm asking the experts!

Palmitate is part of the saponification reaction. It was probably replaced with another palmitate or sterate. I also saw the new bottle and I think KMF stated that it is the same formulation, just a new bottle design.

I sure hope they don't change a thing. KMF Key Lime is my gold standard for r41 cream shaving. It is also excellent brushless, which is quite useful when you need an r41 shave completed in under 2min. ...darn snooze button...

I hope they changed it. I find that KMF doesn't provide even half of the slickness that even a cheap tube of Canadian Nivea provides.

For $5 a tube, that Nivea is something, isn't it? I am pleasantly surprised with how slick it is.

As for the KMF, I have a pump bottle of the one with parabens in it. I'm not sure I can help.
