Just a bit of review of my own. You didn't think I was that altruistic that I didn't pick up my own KCG razor to try out. I did this morning using one of the branded blades that comes with the razor. Nice long handle, however if you're a shower shaver (like me) the handle can get pretty slippery. I did notice a bit more blade on one side than the other, but overall it was a very smooth shave, a 4 out of 5 for closeness and 5 out of 5 for comfort. The blade performed very well too, however the true test is the next couple days shaves for that.

All in all, a decent razor, very good for a new DE shaver and a nice logo on both the cap and blade for those into that. The razor that is being given here, however, is still sealed in the box. I did NOT use that one for this shave.

I am long overdue to give something back to this wonderful community, and since there has been discussion of the new line of King C Gillette DE razors through Walgreen's Pharmacies, and since every Walgreen's I've been to has several of these on the shelf, I'd thought I'd pick one up and offer it for free.

What's is included is a new, sealed King C Gillette branded DE razor which comes with 5 King C Gillette branded blades. This is open to CONUS members with the stipulation that you don't already have one. Just say "I'm in!" I'll keep it open through this weekend and pick a winner by random drawing Monday morning at 8am central time.

well, kind of. It's under authority of Gillette. Much like the Gillette DE blades we all love. And looking at the head, I'd say it's more similar to a Merkur head than the traditional Muhle.
