Kenyon SE Safety Razor

I recently picked this up in an antique store. First time I have come across one of these. Not much information available. The Compendium of Safety Razors has two references for Kenyon Safety Razors...one Kenyon in New Haven Connecticut and one Kenyon-Silvar in New York. Both described as single edge razor, open comb with a flat metal handle. Dates are uncertain. one says early 1920s. Anyone have any information on this razor?

I know nothing about this razor. Congratulations on the find. The handle looks a bit like a shoe horn.

I can confirm that a modern injector will load into the Kenyon without modification. The original blade is just a touch taller. I’ll see how it works out on my next shave. 🩸

Took the Kenyon for a spin tonight. Loaded an unmodified Schick. This went better than expected, with a caveat:

This razor is super light, and moderately aggressive. I went a little heavy on the pressure and walked away with some razor burn on my neck. Great shave otherwise!
