Kent V10 Pure Badger

I bought this brush a few days ago and I didn't even realize it till another member pointed it out to me that this doesn't look a thing like any pure badger I have ever seen. It is marked plainly pure badger on the handle. It is VERY soft with little scritch if any at all. Anyone else have a brush like this? I included some other vintage pure badger knots in the pictures.

Great vintage brush!! I just ordered me a Kent BK8. I believe that all the Kent brushes say "Pure Badger" even when they are actually what most brush makers would call "Silvertip" or "Super" or even "Best". I think that when Kent uses the term "Pure" they actually mean "Authentic"..... and that the hair is real, authentic badger hair rather than referring to the grade of the badger hair. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

I had a vintage Kent V23 Pure badger. Like others have said Kent mean nothing but badger. The V23 was super soft. It went on the BST as It didnt get a place in the rotation. A great find you have there.

Alright thanks guys. So the pure badger just means its all badger hair not pure badger in the sense we think of today.
