Kent Shaving Cream?

I didn't realize until this morning that there was a Kent Shaving Cream.

I'm guessing is is someone elses cream re-packaged for Kent, like their soap is (MWF).

Does anyone know anything about it? Any good?

It says it's mentholated...I wonder if it's re-packaged Ingrams cream?

I just used a sample of this the other day and was quite surprised. Very fresh scent and nice heavy blast of menthol. Perfect for summer. A bit pricey, but that's never really a big deal to me. I'll pay for what I like. That said, I haven't purchased a tube or tub of this, but I still have another shave or two of my sample left. Fantastic cream.

There's a lot to like about the Kent cream - it somehow looks and feels rather fresh and clean, and the scent is very pleasant, with a whiff of vanilla, perhaps.

The trouble with it for me is that it doesn't lather very well; what I get tends to be thin and bubbly, and it gets worse with second and subsequent passes. I know people will say you're just not using enough, but I find it doesn't make a world of difference however much product there is, and frankly for what this stuff costs, one shouldn't have to use tablespoons worth of it.

In answer to the OP, it may well be someone else's product repackaged, but it's not Ingrams.

Never tried it, but smelled it a couple of times in the store, it has a wonderful scent.

Cant shed any light on who manufactures it though, Creightons perhaps?

I'd bet it's Creightons. Consistency is on par w/ AoS and 3Ts. As far as amount of product, I haven't found the need to use any more or less than normal to get great results. Traditional exclaimers inserted here (YMMV, etc.).

As far as a mentholated cream, I do prefer it to the esteemed Proraso, but I don't know if it's quite as good as SMN. It is good.

Absolutely love the scent! Fresh, clean and bright. I can just bring the tub to my nose and inhale! Perfect amount of cooling too. Lathers very well- thick and smooth.
