Kent BK2

Hi
All

I'm looking at the Kent BK2 as a new addition. I currently use a E.J best badger medium.I have some questions about the Kent Bk2 medium.
1) Is the Kent any good and do you own one?
2) Dose the Kent bk2 lather well soap/cream face/bowl?
3) Dose the Kent BK2 have a good spine(stiffness)?
Or is there something better for the same price £35 $55

Thank you for your time

I don't have a BK2, but I do have its bigger brother the BK4. The BK4 works well for me all around; in my opinion, it's a truly excellent brush.

Although I've never held one, I tend to think of the BK2 as a travel brush.

Hopefully, someone else who owns a BK2 will be able to offer advice based on direct experience.

Dave, I cannot speak as of the BK2 (nor other badger's for that matter). I own the same brush you have EJ "Best" Medium, however I found it unusable for me. That was my first experience with badger. Way too scratchy, floppy, small handle, and more importantly way too harsh on my face. I gave up on badgers and went back to boars. Finally just recently I decided to give badgers one more try and invested in a Simpson Colonel in Best. Let me tell you, I got WOWed right out of the box. Way, way softer brush even though supposedly they both have the same grade hair. This is my only brush I reach for every morning and not going back to anything else anytime soon.

I guess what I am trying to say is, if you are looking for that kind of upgrade you are in for a treat my friend.
