From what I have found this is a type of Aristocrat. There aren't any date codes under the head so im not sure how to find out what year it is. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

It doesn't have a notched center bar so I believe that dates it to 47,48 or 49.
Well, it's definitely an American Aristocrat, the fact that the bands on the handle aren't knurled, but fluted, and that there are endcaps on the head suggests that it's a 1946-47 Aristocrat.
That's a good price. I'm toying with the idea of picking up an Aristocrat with plate loss and replating in nickel.

Im thinking about doing the same thing with this razor. If the plating doesn't appear to be too bad after it cleans up I just may keep it as is. If not I think ill re-plate it in nickle.
If you do end up replating, please post up pictures. I don't think I've ever seen a replate of an American Aristocrat. Considering you only spent $12 on it, and plating will cost around $25, that's not a bad price at all in total.
