Got lost, saw an antique store that specialized in horse stuff (saddles, tack, bullets, lots of bullets, even more bullets), asked for directions, yes I was that lost, and after getting them asked if they had any double-edged razors. She had a small box full of dirty, complete with blades, razors. I saw the shiny adjustable, asked how much, and she said two bucks.
Took it home and soaked it in dish soap and warm water for an hour. Ran a toothbrush over it, and declared it perfectly clean. The workings are as smooth as silk. It was used. There was a bit of old soap here and there. But, whomever used it knew how to take care of it. It is pristine. It's sitting in a glass of disinfectant right now. Can't wait for tomorrow morning to roll around.
No, it is not for sale.
Good directions and a great razor! Not a bad day.
