Just picked up this New Improved . . . Can't Verify Box

Here is a link to the eBay auction. I think I got a good deal ($10 shipping though). However, it says original box and I can't ID the box on mr-razor site. Anyone recognize a New Improved in the regular old black box like this with red instead of purple interior (I didn't think it looked like faded purple to me--maybe it is).

Wrong box, but nice razor. This is a little different, but I am sure the box is from this series/era

According to the seller, no cracks! I think $27 is a fair price for it, even if the box is wrong (I can use the box for the tech it is meant for. ).

My bad, shipping was only $2.75 on this one, so assuming no cracks I think $20 is more than fair for this one.

little bit different inside, yours have like a felt lining, the mr.razor/toms pic one has like a stripped silk lining....i could be wrong.

Looked like the same color scheme though. I don't see that color scheme in the New Improved boxes on the mr-razor site. Those New Improved color schemes with red lining had light colored boxes I think.

I hope I'm missing something and someone can identify it as a New Improved box. I'd love to have the original box for that one.
