Just ordered my first Shavemac

It's essentially the one pictured below. 23mm knot, no Shavemac logo and custom engraving. I chose pure badger hair since I like a little scrubbing action. Since Shavemac's pure badger brushes are not trimmed, I suppose it's not too scratchy.

Yes, that's correct, I use soaps almost exclusively.

Let us know how it works out for you. The only Shavemac I have is a Silvertip. I haven't used it yet, but I can tell you the badger hair is the softest I've ever felt. I bought it primarily for use with creams.
