Just got my first bottle of Veg. Now what should I do with it?

But no...had a great shave this morning and have next to nothing to shave at the moment. (I suppose I might consider a one shave pass if I was going to the Playboy Mansion tonight. I'm not. That's tomorrow.) But...I've been awaiting this moment for days, and I just cant bring myself to apply it for the first time right before going to work tomorrow morning....and that pattern could repeat itself into the weekend. NOOOOO!! I can hear it calling me.....

Yeah....that's happening in a few. Of course part of me wants to decant it in this and if anyone asks ill tell them it's Saurian Brandy.

Try it both ways. You may like it straight from the plastic. If you don't you can shake an application into a ramekin or something, and probably get the same effect of decanting. Then you could go with whichever one you like better. I like it both from the plastic and the glass, but they are different. I got lucky and found a vintage glass bottle for mine but you can use the glass in your pic. The opening might be a bit large for pouring though.

Okay....interesting one-pass shave with THREE reviews!

1) ToBS grapefruit shave cream: Just superlative! Sharp, citrus tang that will be a welcome wake up call during the hot summer months! ToBS Avacado for the rainy days.....

2) Shavemac #25 23mm silvertip brush (2nd use): It is almost unfair to use this brush with this cream. Just an astounding amount of lather I had to toss.....and this is the most luxurious brush Ive ever used.

3) The veg.

Erm.....yeah. not chosen. I am a long time red sox fan and vividly recall the smell of the 'urinal trough' that used to pass as a bathroom at Fenway. Gave the Veg an hour and it kept morphing into a new smell that I couldn't stand. Love Lilacs. This ain't them.

The first day that I used it was utterly horrible. The second day, and every day since, was bliss.

Fresh, real lilacs are blooming in the yard now. The Veg does smell vaguely like them.

After my dog peed on the lilacs, much closer.

I hope it's the wearer and not the smeller. I haven't found any women that appear to take notice of the VEG in any way, and I'd hate to find out it's because they aren't old enough.

I got a bottle in my last order. It took me several days of opening the bottle and smelling it before I finally used it after a shave. Didn't hate it, didn't love it. Withholding judgement until I try it a couple of more times.

If that doesn't do it for me, decanting for a PIF sounds about right.

Hmm... Here I was thinking it was too small. But you know the solution don't you? Buy more VEG to compensate for glorious over-pouring!

every time i come across a thread like this i end up heading to the basement and digging back into the back of the storage cabinet where the Veg has been exiled. after i scrape away the dead roaches that got too close to it, i pull out the Veg bottle and do a little splash and ........ remind me to not read any more Veg threads.
