I chose badger, because I use a badger with creams, and I use creams about 80% of the time lately. I do use my Omega boar with hard soaps and croaps more often than not.

I've sold all my boar brushes.

Only badger brushes for me at the present time.

All of the badger brushes I have left are my "go to brushes"

Sounds legit, one question, i get the word croaps, but could ya give me some examples?

Horse brushes, anyone, where would you get one and what do they cost?
I got mine from Bullgoose http://www.bullgooseshaving.net/vibubeinnaho.html. There are several other sources for horsehair brushes including some popular ones from Turkey which would make them turkeyhair brushes I suppose. Seriously, I'm very impressed with the quality and performance of my Vie-Long brush and am hoping to add another, different VL brush to the 'stable'.

Great, though i just read a pretty convincing article about some of the modern synthetics, wish i had included that option in the poll!

I couldn't really vote in the poll, because I don't have a "go to" brush - and if I really had to choose one it would be the mixed-hair Semogue SOC SE 2012.

I got moves like Jagger
Until the middle of last year, the answer would have been badger but then that evil Foyle came along and now the answer is boar.
