Just a "cold" thought

Gents,

I was pondering this the other evening and figure I would toss it out there. I know a lot of you like "The Rub" for that cold brisk feeling after a shave. But here's a thought...
For those of us that live in a colder climate, and receive snow in the winter...has anyone ever thought of applying freshly fallen snow to their face after a shave? I have to imagine that would feel pretty frosty, no?

I've done a snow bath while living out of an akio and I'm not a fan. but I don't like menthol on my face either. soooo, good luck with that!

I'm thinking that would be a little too cold... I'm guessing there would be a burning, prickly sensation. As I'm typing this, since I don't know for sure what this would be like, as soon as we get some nice powder again, I might give it a try just to see.

The snow as it falls picks up grime and bacteria from the atmosphere,
its advised against drinking rain water or using the snow in your whisky for that same reason.
I would not use it on a freshly shaved face.

but it IS like playing in dirt, I just wanted to make a point that just becuase it looks nice and white its not necessarily clean.
most of the time nothings going to happen,
but just be aware that it is not as clean as your AS.

I have jumped in the snow after being in the banya/sauna having shaved during the sweat. It was freaking awesome. No bacterial infection acquired.

I wouldn't equate putting something cold on your face with a nice menthol blast.
