I bid on these thinking it was worth a chance to get a red tip superspeed on the cheap. Won for about 13 bucks including shipping.
Received the razors today.
The Flare tip J-3 is not bad at all and should clean up really nicely. I suppose what I paid was worth it for this razor alone.
The black razor is a plastic Tech from the 1940s, only a couple scratches on the painted guard (the only metal piece). The two plastic pieces are in really good shape.
The red tip C-3 is rough but should end up a good shaver. Some significant brassing with small pits on the TTO doors. The handle however is in great shape, with nearly all the paint still on the knob. I was surprised how much beefier the handle is than the flare tips. Hopefully this will clean up into a nice shaver.
I will probably PIF the Gem after I clean it up. Works fine, outer door with lots of brassing.
Will try to post pics after I clean em up. Not bad for 13 bucks.
