Recently picked up a Jonathan Crookes 5/8 wedge razor at a local antique store. Honed it up, and it has really impressed me. My honing skills are nowhere near the level of the many forum members whose edges I have experienced, either through purchases on the BST, or through their generous offerings of free honings. Either the honing gods were with me, or this is one amazing razor! Tried it on the weekend with a two day stubble(rare for me), BBS. Used it again today, really nice shave. This one is a keeper. Anyone else have a Jonathan Crookes?

Lovely razors. That old Sheffield steel is hard to beat. I have one in Ivory scales & covered tang.
I have one of those, I like it. It hadn't seen a ton of use but I recently got it back from Jon (Raithskar) who put a great edge on it and I've used it quite a bit lately. Nice shaver.
