James Bond Cologne Coming Soon

I've read rumors of a Bond cologne coming, and I suppose they were true.

here

I'm aware that it's not what Bond wore in the novels, but I still think it's interesting nonetheless. Can't wait to try it if I can find it around where I live.

Good that it's something he would wear not what he himself would smell like.
I kind of envision him smelling like musk.
Really strong musk.

James Bond wore Floris 89

Actually, Ian Fleming wore Floris 89, and it became associated with Bond. According to Basenoters who have read the Bond books, the only reference they saw to a scent was when a French woman castigated Bond that the English never wore fragrances to which he replied "We bathe."

Evidently. Trumpers Eucris was seen in one of the films, but it was a part of a bathroom that someone had "stocked" for Bond, not something he had brought himself.

I fear the Bond fragrance will be a bit low end. It may be elitist, but frag heads tend to eschew "celebrity" kind of scents.

Bond definitely used Pinaud products. If I recall the books correctly, Bond wasn't a fan of scented men but I like to think that he'd picked up a couple bottles of Clubman to go with the "Prince among shampoos," the now-defunct Pinaud Elixir shampoo.

Yes, I've also seen a reference to Pinaud Elixer shampoo. Very hard to find.

"On Her Majesty's Secret Service"
'...went into the bathroom and had an ice-cold shower and washed his hair with Pinaud Elixir, that prince among shampoos, to get the dust of the road out of it.'

Bond in the books, while opinionated, is not particularly stylish or of refined taste in the way that he is portrayed in the movies.
he wears nylon shirts and underwear (Live and Let Die); he distrusts any man who wears his tie in a Windsor knot "the sign of a cad" (From Russia With Love); and he detests shoes with laces (OHMSS).
