What's new

JABONMAN - This soap is the real deal

If you are a fan of Mikes Natural Soaps, Mystic Waters or Queen Charlotte Soaps (I am), then you will love this artisan soap from Spain.
The scents are the most complex and unique I have found. I don't have the patience to sit and detail all the particulars, but using these other artisan soaps as a bench mark should be all the information you need. I have 9 tins and Manuel always sends a generous sample of other scents he is working on. For now, my favorites : Vetiver/Mandarina/Litsea Cubeba.........Brisa de Oriente......Ylang Ylang/Pachuli/Naranja......Lima/Canela.

They are all outstanding. On the first shipment I received (8 tins), it roughly came out to $16.00 per tin. The second shipment of 4 tins, came out to approx. $19.00 per tin.

The tins are great as well.

If you are looking for a soap.....have been disappointed with hype in the past......this one won't disappoint.
Manuel is easy to deal with. Via e mail and Pay Pal only [email protected]. Sorry for the marginal photo.

Thanks billy. Great cache you have there. Man I am loving the development of artisan shave soaps in 2012. It is bound to be remembered as the year of the artisans. And yes I realise some of them have been around longer than this year but it really has been their year.

Cheers, Todd

I agree. The more I read B&B the more I realize the real good artisan soaps get their proper due and the pretenders get exposed a bit.

I have 4 of his soaps too and I can't agree more. I am hoping to acquire more when he has Marseille in stock.

Billy, not only are you a fan of the Jabonman, but you are a Carolinian as well! I knew I was gonna like this thread! :)

I currently have three tins of Manuel's soaps, and I plan on getting more. From your photo, it looks like you are a distributor! Not only are the soaps deliciously scented, luxurious to lather, but the face feel after the shave is amazing. I have yet to have a soap that makes my face feel as soft and smooth as Jabonman's. I think Cella and Tabac are very close seconds! An added benefit is that Jabonman soaps are the only soaps where I can still smell the scent after the shave even after applying aftershave.

BIG, BIG fan of the Jabonman!

I've only tried a soap he made as a LE for Foroafeitado, a Spanish shaving forum I'm a member of, and it is simply stunning. When I manage to thin my collection of soaps an creams, I'll sure try more Jabonman's soaps.

You would be doing yourself a great service by obtaining more of Manuel's soaps!

Here another lover of Marseille Jabonman soap... I have tested some other ones and all have a stunning scent plus a fantastic properties & lather!

Unfortunately today I have too many soaps, but when I finish my Marseille soap I'll grab some others for sure!

Cheers!
