Yeah, the second wave finally hit. 
i just got me a bottle,... beause you said something,... and i liked the bottle,... so uh lol what did i just buy ?
Why am I suddenly thinking about buying this?
Im glad im not the only one that happens to when i open links,... i have to train myself that just because you open the thread does not mean you have to click the links lmao,.. but i was in the market for a nice blue, lol Doug you have tried the first wave as it were ? how was the stuff ? looks like a few people need a push one way or the other,... and i still have time to cancel lol

I'm a sucker for blue inks, and the two bottles of J. Herbin inks that I have (Perle Noir and Éclat see Saphir) are stellar. Therefore I had to get the one with the coolest bottle. 
J. Herbin is top notch ink. I've had a bottle of Perle Noir for 2 months and it quickly usurped 5OS as my favorite black ink.

I need to pick this ink up. I have sooo many blues, though.
Does this ink have any type of metallic type effect like the red version?

I'm not sure, but mine arrived today, and it was accompanied by a warning that the ink is supersaturated and should not be left for too long in the pen. I'll probably try it in a Safari first.
sounds like my sheaffer cali's are getting a cart filled ahead of my other pens,... at least for now
