It's true. I have been. But I promise you it was not intentionally...
Since I joined here in October I've put it out there that i've been DE shaving for "a year" or "a little over a year". Well in fact my very first DE razor shave was January 6th, 2012. Yup, this year. I humbly apologize for portraying myself as someone that was more experienced and i assure you it was not done intentionally. It honestly has felt like it's been longer than a year.
I was just sitting here tonight browsing through B&B and ran across a thread that got me to really think hard about when i started wet-shaving. It then dawned on me that I posted a pic of my first razor and a review of my first shave on Facebook, so i started with the Timeline on October 2011, and didn't find the pic/review till January 2012. I was shocked! so once again allow me to apologize and set the record straight..... I have not been wet-shaving for "a little over a year" or "a year". My very first DE razor shave was on January 6th of this year and for my punishment I will copy/paste my very first review of the shave i had that night so you all can make fun of it as it is a very noob review. I have since learned MANY things. Also my very first razor porn.... (Merkur 34C)
The review: "just shaved with it and i must say im a genius for buying this cause its gonna save me a ton on razor blades. I never really got razor burn to begin with and there wasn't any for sure with this. in my opinion it was a better shave but not the OMG THIS IS HEAVON ON MY FACE like the reviews said. (i could feel that way because i really had super high exceptions for this) im 100% sticking with it but not for the "ultimate shave" i'm sticking with it for the ULTIMATE SAVINGS. if you are sick of paying $20 for 4 cartridge razor blades then you'd be crazy not to switch. im also prolly just gonna use one blade one time and not the 3-6 times they say you can. i mean i paid $12 for 50 blades!! why would i subject my face to a used blade at that price? oh and the best part...DID NOT CUT MYSELF ONCE."
