Italian Job

hi Guys,

Just thought you may be interested in seeing this unusual Italian razor that I picked up.

It was in a bit of a state when I found but looks pretty good now.

I'd say possibly 1930s and it has a really fat and heavy handle.

Make is Radar Rositaio (I think)

Anyone seen anything similar?

I've never seen anything like it, but it sure does look nice.

Is that one of your fabled replate jobs or did you manage to clean it up that well?

Yes, it's replated - when I found it it was green with corrosion..

I've never seen anything like it, but it sure does look nice.

I'm going to give it a try tomorrow - I would imagine from the head design that it'll be similar to a Gillette Old Type, but we'll see..
