Israeli Personn's

Newbie here. First time I tried the personnas for I am usually a Feather guy. 1st pass WTG I used my Merkur Slant. Cleared most of my tough stubble. I used by Jagger d89 for the XTG pass and my Weber with bulldog handle for the ATG pass. Wow! what a smooth, comfortable shave. I was very surprised. This may be my best blade moving to the top of the rotation. Also, I just ordered The Merkur 1904 Classic OC. Have never used an OC before but was told it is great on tough beards. Any thoughts?

I have but one thought: unless you're a well-experienced DE shaver before joining B&B, you are doing yourself a disservice by flitting from one razor to another at this point. You are free to do whatever you choose, but I would not recommend your routine (or lack of it) to othere new shavers.

That said, I'm a fan of Red IPs, and Crystals as well.:thumbup1: I find them to be adequately sharp and VERY smooth blades.

I appreciate your input Wingnut and I will take it into consideration, however I have been DE shaving for 5 years. I feel very comfortable with my technique. I am new to B&B, I guess that's where the newbie comes from. The use of the three different razors is mainly my need to use all of my razors as much as possible, because I love them all.

No problem then, house! Sometimes without a scorecard it's hard to tell the players around here!:thumbup1: If your technique hasn't stabilized yet, it ain't ever gonna!

Red IP's are nice blades :)

I like OC's too, slightly more aggressive but when use right, provide nice smooth shaves.

Im sure you will love it :)
