Can you re-post that 2nd photo a bit larger? Is the manufacturer written anywhere on the head? The lather catchers were nicknamed such due to the large gap below the blade that can store an entire face worth of lather! Another photo would help. Either way, the handle is obviously not the original.

A picture of what appears to be your razor is shown in a case along with pictures of some of their other models including the one that looks like a Brownie.
