Is this a good gift set?

I'm thinking about getting one of these for my dad and my father-in-law. There's only 13 hours left - some good opinions needed. I suck at recognizing brands or values at this point.

Hmmm....no brands listed? Seems a bit sketchy to me....you can get stuff that is KNOWN to be good for not much more than what they are charging for the set....

Looks like a DE89 with VDH and an $8 boar brush. It's not a steal, but it's a decent starter (unless the brush is terrible).
