That even though you haven't heard it for 10 years, and never listened to it a lot in the first place, that still pops up and haunts you when you are thinking quietly?
My songs are nine inch nails - terrible lie, and for some reason Del amitri - nothing ever happens, both have refused to leave my head for a decade.
Depending on my mood and what I'm doing, if I sit there in silence long enough working or thinking, most of the time either of those song come into my head.
Terrible lie normally happens late at night, when I'm tired or have been drinking. But del amitri is the song I think of almost every day when I'm quietly working (only started happening a year or two ago. Nine inch nails - terrible lie is older but less frequent.)
Weird because they are old enough that I haven't heard them for a long time.
dont own either of them and have never played them for 10 years, and I never listen to the radio any more either, so I haven't heard them in the background. In fact I haven't listened to anything in the last month except for hunky dory and wish you were here.
I don't mind th NIN song so much, that's no so common, but del amitri?! For crying out loud, why am I cursed with that?
