That is correct; the Fatip has an M4.5 thread and as far as I know they are the only ones with that. If you must you can use an M5 handle with teflon tape but that is not a very elegant solution.

Unless you value Italian "workmanship" over Gillette there's no particular advantage to the Fatip cap vs the ubiquitous and indestructible brass Old Type. For the aspiring handle swapper changing caps is a lot easier than messing with tape IMHO.
