Surely there’s some kind of palliative, something to alleviate, mitigate this disorder before it becomes a full-blown monster.

There is no pill, but running out of hiding places for your stash and a suspicious wife help a lot!

I have a built in control mechanism. I only purchase what can be contained in my dopp bag. That allows for 3 large tubs of soap and 2 containers of balm. The bag also houses all my blades so I have @ 3 years or more of supplies in my go bag. Of course that bag goes with me before the dogs or wife in case of house fire .

I'd be set if my travel kit had some kind of shock mechanism, a kind of negative reinforcement thing. I think . . . and I can't emphasize enough my uncertainty--I'm set for a good long while. I'll be attending the Big Shave SouthWest at the end of the month (my first ever!) and from what I gather there are a slew of samples one can pick up, as well as all the other hardware and software one can drool over.
