Is it ok to use vintage NOS blades?

Heck yeah! I use 'em. I love the way some of them shave. I once traded Captain for a lot of vintage blades. It was like treasure!

I just shaved with a Wilkinson sword super sword edge, very nice smooth shave, I would say on par with shark super chrome, voskhod and rapira Swedish supersteel as far as being smooth, however the Wilkinson sword felt sharper by a good margin. I don’t know how old the Wilkinson is? This is the second vintage blade I used the other being gillette spoiler, the first blade I used 50 years ago. Just my opinions, sorry for being long winded

Probably early to mid 70s. I couple of us here can probably date them with a picture if you want. The Schick Plus Platinum was the competitor at the time as well as Personna chrome which I have also.

I once did experiments in exactly the same way as I wrote here. But these blades have not been tried to this day. Can anyone describe them? I want to open the package and try. Is this stainless steel.
