I know what you mean. I've promised myself one this Fri, but can afford a Std Dovo one right now and keep having to restrain myself from the "add to basket" button. I know its 3 times the price, but it looks so lovely.
The one thing, aside from price, that made me shy away from these is that I see no simple way to replace any leather I might ruin with clumsy stropping.
I'm much better at stropping now so I am down to being put off by the price. I need to wait for some sort of windfall to pull this trigger!

I've just put an unexpected £90.00 cheque into the bank, hence this request for info. Love the sound of the Rasurpur horshide, but the handmade strop comes special delivery, i.e. Sat morning around 9, just in time to wake me up and get me putting the coffee on.

Very nice, but way overpriced. Better off with a TM strop.

Thanks but I would call the Invisible edge strop, pricey maybe, but not over priced. I know from experience the wooden handle, the way the leather is inserted and the nice stitching all take time and time equals $$. Pricey as in it costs a lot is not a negative, over priced implies too much money for the resulting product. If I made them I would ask at least that price if not more.
