Interesting Old/NEW?

What do I have here? Is it the oldest of the NEW style? Some kind of trasition model perhaps? It doesn't take the old style blades but is doesn't have the NEW style head. The blades rests almost on the teeth. It's imported in France and made in England (not mentioned though on the razor).
The handle is plated copper. The weight is 57gr and it has a cardboard box.
Who can show any light on this?

Interesting, I've not seen that style end tooth on a Gillette either.
Could this be a mismatch?

Then again, I've not seen a handle with the logo on it either.

The cap doesn't have the same radius of curvature as the guard, does it?

It's pretty hard to mismatch a three piece with a long post and the inner handle.

I does not look like it. My guess is that is a way to force adjust the blade.

Imported from England as you mentioned. While I still think it would most likely be some kind of prototype, I am a bit confused why they would identify a prototype with the import verbiage.

Your right, I was not thinking along those lines at all.
None of the traights or even close to English models.
The neck piece is cone shaped as well, that's new to me as fair as Gillette goes.
