I just picked up a Schick Injector (I think a G1?) at an antique shop. The bottom head was a little loose, so following some directions from a post on SMF, I bent the "spring" a little farther, and now the bottom head moves just a little, but once a blade is in, it's pretty firm. Is this the way it's supposed to be, or should I try to get it completely tight?

If it's tight with a blade in you should be OK. I've got a couple G's that actally rattle a little with no blade in but work great when loaded. Just check the blade a couple times when you use it the first time to make sure the blade isn't moving backwards.
