I have an old or it looks old Brookes&Crookes straight razor. Any info on the company, quality etc etc.

Its still sharp enough to shave with, have tried google but only get to web sites that have every imaginable razor under the sun but no Brookes&Crookes.

ive not heard of them - but there were masses of cutlerers back in the day.

I can tell you its post 1890ish, because it says England on the tang, but thats about it
