Chicken cacciatore, Chinese style.

Chunks of boneless chicken thighs tossed in egg whte and water chestnut flour and deep fried, as you would prepare for general Tso's/ sesame/ orange chicken, then tossed in sauce of garlic, onion, mushroom, and tomato.

A local "scotch" type whiskey that I find to be much more akin in taste to a good rye. One wee dram takes the edge off a 2:30 meeting that doesn't start until 4:45!

Now I'm paying my penance by doing time on the trainer!

Made some great ribs tonight with Bone Suckin' Rib Rub and Sauce.

So enjoyable! Especially with the nip of Crystal Head Vodka that's been chilling in the freezer since Christmas.

Korean fried chicken and a coke.

After I grade a few more papers, I'll treat myself to a large whisky, probably a Caol Ila on this night.

Linguine with, if I say so myself (and I do) the best red sauce I've ever made. God loves a slowcooker.

My back is killing me. The remedy - gin fizzes. 1/4oz syrup, 1/2oz lemon juice, 1.5oz Tanqueray, shaken with ice, poured in a Collins glass, and remainder of glass filled with club soda. Drink and repeat.

I'm intrigued by this "new medicine" of yours. Compared to pills, operations, and specialists, booze is awfully cheap. I'm becoming convinced that this should be a key part of any new "health care reform" plan.

Last night I went to the US Air Guitar Championships, Cleveland Regional. Really. YouTube it. They take it very, very seriously. And it was extremely entertaining.

Woodford Reserve Master's Collection Sonoma-Cutrer Finish bourbon . . . and an Illusione ~888~ cigar.

Last day of classes yesterday, turned in my keys at noon. Summer!
