Imperfection in my Edison 2011. At least you know they are hand finished!

First off, let me say I'm not bitter or complaining about this.
I have not contacted Brian Gray at Edison Pen Co. and I am not seeking any action on this.

So I was looking over my Edison 2011 LE and I noticed that the bottom of the cap has an imperfection on it.
At the bottom, there is a gouge out of it. That is to say that you can see where it is not straight.

As my title says, it may not be perfect, but it is hand finished.
It didn't just roll off an assembly line all made by machine.

Each one has a little personality. Each one a little unique.

I'm putting it into production as my go-to pen.
I'm sure over the years it will develop more "personality".

I know you say you are not seeking any action, I just want to point out that Brian Gray says that any of his pens can be sent back to him at any point for "service" even if it is just to buff a scratch out for you.
I know what you mean though about personality, and I agree with you. When I got my first Edison, a production line Hudson, I was worried about getting any scratches on it. As I used it, it did get a scratch or three, but they do add character to the pen! Besides, they are not big scratches, and can only be seen by holding the pen a certain way.
The 2011 LE Glenmont sure is worthy of being an everyday go-to pen!
