I'm going all Artisan . no need to look elsewhere

So I have concluded after 6 straight days of only using artisan shave soaps (Stirling, Panna Crema, Strop Shoppe) that I am sticking with these artisan makers.... they just work really well with my skin and provide extremely close shaves as well as skin care from a post shave feel, smell and moisturizing standpoint.

I ordered some QCS Mysore Sandalwood, QCS Fouguere Soap, RR XX Soap and Stirling Anise and Earl Grey today .... my money is on the Artisans....

I agree. I've got lots of stuff in my den to use up, but in the future I will likely only be restocking with Saint Charles Shave, HoneyBee Soaps, and Mystic Water.

Ive tried many great soaps ... Irisch Moos, Tabac, MWF, MdC, AdP, Pens EF Tallow and more and none of these stand head and shoulders above the quality and skin care that a Stirling Tuscany, Panna Crema Lavandatto or other artisan soaps give me.... we all love shaving and products....im just finding my niche with some very well made artisan soaps!

The bulk of what I like tend to be in the artisan realm as well. The only exceptions I'll still always keep available are MdC, Tabac, and Cella. Everything else is RR Artisan, QCS, and Strop Shoppe.

I'm not exclusive to artisans, but Mystic Water and Mikes are the only ones I make sure I have a fresh backup no matter what.

I believe MdC is French Artisan. MWF is the only mass produced I like it.

Even the "Mass Produced" shaving soaps are not really mass produced in the grand scheme of things. I'd be willing to bet more cans of Barbasol are sold in a single day than DRH sells shaving soaps in an entire year

I mainly use Floid Blue, AV Ice Blue and CC Bay Rum

We live in a golden age...so many great soaps and creams, so little face to shave. I think we should band with our shaving overlords (Gillette/Schick) and develop some genetic engineering to make facial hair grow back faster. So we can shave twice a day, and use more product.

I like the artisan soaps, too. I've got Barrister & Mann, Mama Bear, Mikes, QCS, and Stirling. Can't pick a favorite.

I am a complete artisan shaver at this point . Mystic waters has done my face so much good I have no reason to look elsewhere. I'm old school like that once I find something that works for me I dont jump ship unless there's a change in quality.
