I use the Korg clip on tuner and like it.
This one looks like it's easy to see. That's good on a dark stage.

I have a similar tuner and can only use it at the house. I find that in loud venues, they have trouble "hearing" the instrument over the throngs of screaming ladies.

These type of tuners pick up the string vibration through the clamp rather than with a built in mike. They work even when everyone else is playing.

If yours is a vibration type and not working in a noisy environment then I reckon there's something wrong with it!

I've had an Intellitune for many years and it is excellent in noisy pub sessions when there's a dozen or more other musos bashing away.

I think that my situation is complicated by the fact that I play bass. When I played a lot of double bass, it was helpful in MOST situations. Some places were just so loud that the bridge and sound post would vibrate and confuse the signal.

That happens to me all the time, too. I gotta start playing smaller crowds and quieter gigs.
