ID razor please

Hello,

I found this razor for sale locally. It is described as a Gillette 50s safety razor with silo doors. This is the only picture of it:




What model is it? I'm currently using a Merkur Model 180 Long Handled Safety Razor, and I want to know if this would be an upgrade.

That is a flair tip super speed.

It´s a 1954-1959 flare tip Super-Speed. Since 1960 they don´t have the rings at the knob.

It should turnout to be mid 50s, I think that thick band next to the TTO knob was only on 1954 - 1957 Super Speeds.
