I got this hone on ebay a while back, it has a leather strop on the top of the lid. any idea's on what the stone may be?

Looks like an Arkie to me, but I don't really know. What's it do to a razor? What's slurry like?
Yes it looks like an arky (most likely soft or med from that coloring, but not definitely).
