Found a package deal on 4 razors. I'll post some pics tomorrow.
The one that caught my eye was the gold fat handled tech. No date codes but the base plate has (REG USA, PAT OFF, and PATENTS ON PACKAGE). (any date help would be appreciated). Cleaned up very nicely. A couple small spots on the knurling, but very nice overall.
The next one was a Slim. Had low expectations for the price. Its an I2, cleaned up like new and works the same. All numbers have nice paint, adjustment mechanism is smooth, and the margins on both sides of the safety bar are very even. It's in better shape than my birth year Slim that I paid a lot more for.
#3 is a 1953 Y2 Super Speed. End caps in place, silo doors like new, but the handle is pretty dirty. I soaked and scrubbed, but still not cleaning up as well as I'd like. My other Super Speed ends up being a 1950, and the handle is in great shape, but it's missing the end caps and the silo doors have some brassing.
#4 is a J4 Travel Tech in good shape along with the case in good shape. (although it smells like it was stored in some smelly soap)
So, what was the cost? $30 + $5 shipping.
