I remember party lines, we had a party line at home until the early 90s. I also remember having an operator to assist with calls, now if you press zero nothing happens. You have to dial 411 and deal with a stupid machine that never gives you the right number and if your lucky sometimes a person that isn't much better.

I vow to never do the smartphone hunchover. I keep my head up and on a swivel. My cell battery lasts 6 months between charges. It's off and in my pocket, ready when I need it.
