I really like my Pal Injector

Hey guys, I've heard mixed opinions on these, but I really like my Pal Injector. I have the adjustable model and it gives me a really great, effortless shave. Mine at least feels very solid and I like the steel handle. I've found myself using it more and more lately and I really enjoy it. Kind of a poor man's Cobra in a way. Anyone else use a Pal ever?

Yeah, I'm one of those rare souls that prefers the Pal Adjustable to the Schick counterpart. Moreover, right now my go to injector is the (non-adjustable) Pal Inject-O-Matic. I just to seem to get along better with the blade angle required by the Pals. The Pal adjustable is a solid, hefty razor and as cool looking as they come (these opinions are my own and are not necessarily those of B&B, its staff or subsidiaries).

I, too, believe that injectors are much underrated-- for me they deliver consistently great shaves. I've often thought that, for someone new to traditional shaving, perhaps the easiest transition from cartridge to DE or SE would be via an injector. Locking in the blade angle is fairly intuitive, the head is small enough to make shaving the upper lip straightforward and the blades last a long time. What's not to like?

I currently don't own a Pal injector, but the only thing negative I've heard about the Pal Adjustable is that the adjusting mechanism is fragile. It's a great looking razor.

Just got the Adjustable PAL from the Bay. Very clean & I like the stainless steel body. Not sure what setting to start out with.

PAL adjustable is one of the injectors I enjoy using. When you get a good one, they give an amazing shave

You imply that there are bad ones? Is the quality variable or am I reading too much into it? :)

There have been discussions in the past about quality control issues:

and some other threads I vaguely remembered but can't find at the moment.

If the concerns are valid, I've been blessed with a good one. No complaints here.

I'm very much into Straights now (occupational hazard as I'm honing a lot of them and therefore test-shaving) but when I want a quick shave, I'll usually grab my Pal Injector and it performs really well - My English Aristos etc are languishing in the display cabinet.

i got one for 2$ at a fleamarket, can't beat that price! I like it a lot, and it gives me some great and close shaves, But I've found if I'm not careful it really tears my face up. First time I used it I got a nasty nick, and...the most recent time I've used it I drew blood as well.

A razor (like all razors) to be respected, but they're a neat piece for sure!
