I just bought the Lone Rangers straight!

It belonged to a bloke called John Hart who played the Lone Ranger for the 1952 season. He died in 2009 and his Agent under instructions from his widow is selling off his stuff. It comes with a certificate of authenticity apparently. I thought it'd be cool to own the Lone Rangers razor.

$29.99 plus $12 postage. There's another 2 or 3 available if anyone is interested. They are all Buy It Now. He seemed to have a few collectors knives as well. I figured that the razor was worth close to that without the provenance.

There were a few. Just type John Hart into eBay and see what comes up.

These auctions have been around for a few months. Several dozen razors at least. He must have collected them.

I got a 5/8th Henckels 401 a few months ago from the same guy, it came with a old check from the Lone Ranger
