I was in my local Sainsburys today and they do their own brand six blade razor, it seems a supermarket has out done Gillette.

I have seen that razor at K-Marts in the US. I think it is a product of Dorco.
More blades doesn't necessarily mean a better shave. The real question is how does it shave? If it is dull, and pulls badly, the number of blades really doesn't matter does it?
Yes, it is a Dorco. In fact, it has been out for at least two years, if not more.

There's more than one, I think. There's this thing, which I believe was the subject of an earlier thread. There's the Dorco which Rocketeer linked to above. I'm pretty sure that I've seen a generic 6 blade under a different name, but I can't track it down right now. Even with 5 blade razors, Gillette and Schick have competition. Personna has something called the M5 which is probably junk, but is at least cheaper than Fusion.

Aye, that is the one.
The dollar store nearby had 4pk 5 blade razors. You couldn't pay me to risk shaving with those.
Found two more. This men's razor is probably the one I've seen in stores. There's a six blade razor for women too.
That's the one I saw for sale at K-Mart, as well as at several smaller grocers under the "Top Care" name.
Although impossible to tell without live samples in hand, I'd be willing to bet these are all re-branded samples of the same item out of the same factory.
