Hello Gents,
I recently purchased a bottle of Creed Bois du Portugal (from either Sak's, Neiman Marcus or Nordstrom, can't recall which). It's a nice scent, but after wearing it only a few times, I still prefer Guerlain Vetiver or DR Harris Windsor as my everyday scent. I also wear Tom Ford Tuscan Leather regularly but have run very low on supply.
Anyway, my point is that the description of Bois du Portugal seemed like something I'd really, really like...but I just don't. Perhaps it changes too much or something like that. As you can tell by my normal fragrance choices, I admittedly prefer simple/linear type scents.
I'll likely put the BdP on the B/S/T and either sell it or trade it for some Tuscan Leather. I guess it was a lesson that I needed to learn about blind purchases of fragrances. There must be hundreds of threads on B&B warning against blind buys, but I guess I just needed to be taught an expensive lesson. I will except "told you so" responses as my rightful punishment
Best Regards to you all.
