I spent all day looking locally for an AS that smelled like a manly vanilla. I had a post asking and got a response about Mennen Skin Bracer Original. It was not a bad scent, but more powder and not really vanilla to my nose.
My last stop today was Walmart. Nothing there either. My wife and I walked by the candles and such. I stopped and looked at some fragrance oils. Of course they say don't put on skin, but yeah, I guess I just like to live dangerously. I did test them on the inside of my elbow and no reaction.
I used Some Witch Hazel, with about 5 drops of "Amber Vanilla", and about 25 drops of "Vanilla Bean and Spice" and some Vitamin E skin oil (from the supplement isle). It smells great! I didn't mean to, but it smells something like the Mennen Skin Bracer, but MUCH more vanilla scent. I haven't really smelled anything like this, it is masculine, sort of barber shop-like and vanilla.
The best part, I think it's from the vitamin E, my face feels amazing, utterly smooth. I think my face has never felt smoother!
I purchased some Bergamot & White Tea to make something good with too. They have a lot more I may mess with in the future.
