Recently I was able to purchase the "Hulk" through B/S/T. Yesterday was the first time that I was able to use it. As a newbie it still amazes me how crazy sharp a str8 can get. It also is amazing how different a razor can feel because of the type of steel, how the edge is finished etc.
The "Hulk" made shaving my face very easy and incredibly smooth. Where it excelled way past my expectations was on my head. I've stopped using DE and SE razors on my head for a week and a half. In lieu of using safety razors I use my str8s. The "Hulk" shaved my dome BBS with no irritation to speak of. Far and away my sharpest razor and solidifies my choice of using only str8 razors. I think it is very cool that this razor has a name. I introduced the "Hulk" to my son. He was impressed and you could tell that one day he to will give his safety razors a rest and pick up a str8. I hope that 300 years down the road of time this razor will still be called the "Hulk" and have some form of green scales.
I want to thank Joel and all the other senior members here who have supplied us with such valuable information on str8 razor shaving. Without it str8 razor shaving for me would far more intimidating.
