What's new

How's your Major League Baseball team doing?

Well, its just about mid-August...........Has your team got any chance of making the post season? My Mets are now 9 back in the National League East.......Probably wait till next year, but I still love em any way! Lets go Mets!

Things aren't looking so good for the Dodgers. Too bad, I was hoping for another good season. Still need to find a ticket or two and make my way out there this summer - I always like to take in a few late summer games while it's warm out.

My Brewers are 11 games back. Doesnt look good....but maybe wild card. :glare:
Im also a Fan of the White Sox and since I went to college in MN became a fan of the Twins. They lead the division(MN is a half game back).

go Twinkies! I saw them last week against the Mariners. they won, unfortunately, Morneau, Maur & Thome didn't play so we sat through 8 innings of so-so players.

Your an Orioles fan?

I am. It is difficult to follow baseball in New Zealand. I don't have Sky TV, which broadcasts the occasional MLB game on its sports channel.

I also follow the Cardinals and in the old days I was an Expos fan (my heart was broken in the '94 strike year)

Break up the Orioles, they are 5-1 under Buck Showalter. I am not ashamed to admit I am an O's fan.

Caught the game at Camden on Saturday. My first time there -- fantastic park!

I am, however, a Reds fan, and therefore having an excellent season.

I am watching my beloved Bravos fall apart right now. They still have a lead over Philly and that's all that matters. I hope they pull out of this slump. Maybe they skyrocket again like they did in the beginning of the season.

The Astros are pulling their usual...suck it up the first half of the season, then start getting decent once they are firmly out of the race. :mad2:

sigh

On a side note, I actually met Bob "Bull" Watson in the airport security line in Houston on Sunday. Kind of cool. He saw my "45's" hat and said "I have one of those. Its an original...got the uniform too." Let me look at his world series ring he got with the Yankees when he was a GM over there. Awesome stuff.

Rays are in second place - but with injuries coming into the picture, being in the most difficult division, and not having much money to $pend, I am not optimistic.

Go Braves!! Send Bobby out in a wave of glory and style.

Surprisingly well. Young team, second best record in baseball, best in the National League. I'm happy.

Business as usual...

Last night we let the Yanquis know we are still in the race and although we are almost playing with a A AA team due to injuries, we don,t make excuses
